THE LT1 TOTE — VINTAGE MILITARY

Old military kit. New purpose. Built for another lifetime.

The LT1 Tote starts with something a little different.

The body is constructed from genuine vintage military ripstop canvas, originally made as a field tent. It’s already lived one life before we even get our hands on it — which means every mark, fade, crease and imperfection is part of its history.

Rather than trying to make that old canvas look new, we do the opposite.

Each piece is waxed in-house in our workshop using our own DuzJam Wax, bringing the tired military canvas back to life, deepening the colour and giving it that properly beaten-up, waxed workwear finish.

We then pair it with heavyweight Italian leather hide and solid brass hardware. The leather forms the reinforced base, grab handles and long shoulder straps, giving the LT1 two proper ways to carry it.

And this thing is only going to get better.

The waxed military canvas will crease, scuff and change with use. The leather will soften, darken and develop its own patina. No two pieces of vintage canvas start exactly the same, so no two LT1s will ever be exactly the same either.

Across the front we've kept the original military influence running with our DEPT. DUZJAM DIVISION T.O.T.E. / No1 stencil artwork.

It isn't supposed to be pristine.

Use it. Batter it. Chuck it about. That's the point.

Work gear. Laptop. Shopping. Weekend clobber. Whatever you need to lug around — the LT1 is built to take it.

This is genuine vintage military material, not new fabric made to look old. Expect variations in colour, fading, marks, creases and signs of its previous life.
